  • 1 min read

This piece is designed by Tove Kindt-Larsen (1906-1994) who, together with her husband Edvard (1901-1982), was one of Denmark’s most prominent designers from the 1930s to the 1960s. They were a strong design-duo and their work was characterized by contrasts and simplicity as well as a high sense of quality and appreciation of current trends. Tove is well-known for working with her husband, but her own influence should not be underestimated. She won first prize in the Cabinetmakers Guild competition and the third prize in the Danish Reeds Guild competition for her wicker furniture.
