This furniture is designed by Robert W. (1825-1902) who was known as the best wicker maker in Denmark. Many architects came to his workshop to get knowhow and understanding of weaving and wicker work. Among these were Danish architects Arne Jacobsen, Viggo Boesen, Nanna & Jørgen Ditzel and Kay Bojesen who all had many of their prototypes made in Robert W's workshop in Copenhagen.
