The Reeds baskets are produced by Fatima Jobe who is an Gambian architect from Senegal. The basket are handkraftet and the weaving tradition is from pre-colonial times. The weaving techniques have been given between women throughout generations to be able to transform the grass-like plant, Reeds, to these charming containers.
