Fleur is an exclusive wicker chair designed by Robert W. in 1902. The chair is part of Sika-Design's ICONS collection. Our ICONS collection represents relaunched design products from some of the world's greatest and most acclaimed designers of their time. With great respect and admiration for the original designs and in close collaboration with the descendants of these well-known furniture designers, we are happy to bring these icons back.
Robert W. is today the pioneer in the production of rattan furniture. He set the course, through solid craftmanship and by challenging the possibilities of the material, for how we produce rattan furniture today.
The chair is handmade in sustainable Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers. The chair is available in the colors natural and antique. Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material, and you therefore get a unique piece of furniture that can last for generations.
