Loom

Loom is the name of a unique woven material made of twisted Kraft paper partly reinforced with steel wire. The technique was founded by Lloyd Loom in 1917 and this type of weave does not bend, distort or creak when used. The frames of our Loom furniture are made of rattan. Rattan is a climbing plant that grows like vines on the trees in the rainforest. Rattan is a strong and durable material, and when it gets steamed it can be formed by hand, using old traditional manufacturing techniques and a few simple tools.

MAINTENANCE Loom and rattan requires no maintenance. It can be washed with a damp cloth if needed.
