This furniture is designed by Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) who is one of Denmark's most renowned architects. He is well-known for the iconic total architectural designs that he created from the 1930s onwards where he, in addition to the building project itself, also supplied designs for furniture, textiles, lamps, glass, cutlery, clocks, bathroom fixtures, door handles, etc.
But already as a student in the 1920s Arne Jacobsen gained international recognition for his first furniture designs which was made in wicker.
