Arne Jacobsen

This piece is designed by Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) who was a renowned Danish architect and designer. He was admitted to the Architecture School at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1924 to 1927. Still a student, he participated in the Paris Art Deco fair, Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in 1925, where he won a silver medal for his first furniture design; the Paris Chair. 


Arne Jacobsen was revered as one of the most visionary and progressive Danish architects of his time and is especially known for his designs within housing, lighting and furniture.
